One to Watch: Drive Buy Preview

Drive Buy Featured

The upcoming game Drive Buy is the vehicular combat game you should look out for. It’s dropping on the last day of March. It is in development by GLITCHERS Studio. The game seems to be a high-octane mix of Mario Kart, Rocket League, and GTA V Multiplayer.

Players race trough an ‘Open City’ type of arena, where the objective is simple: Deliver packages to the recipients. While you and everyone else work towards this goal, you will also have to think about preventing others to do the same. You will get points for each successful delivery. At the end, when the timer runs out, the player with the most point wins. It’s a simple premise, but there are a few twists.

Power-Ups and Customization

While driving within the game world you will come across a number of power-ups to make your life easier – and to make other people more miserable. You can shoot people with homing rockets, shock them with thunderbolts or use a freezing ray-gun to put them on ice.

The game also features a deep customization system. You will be able to set up the car to reflect your personal style. Multiple options are available for each car. Wheels, boost trails and more can be customized freely to your liking.

Enter Cross-Play

This multiplayer only game releases for PC and Nintendo Switch. One of the main features is cross-play. Gamers across all platforms will be able to play together and enjoy some multiplayer madness in Drive Buy. Personally I can’t wait to unleash mayhem in the crazy online events.

If you wish to play with your friends, it’s also super easy with Drive Buy. All you have to do is enter the lobby number on the other system, and they will join up immediately. It’s clear that the devs of this game understand that people love to play multiplayer games with their friends, and do everything to make it easy and seamless for them.
